Where to stay in Playa during our adventure
My wife and I are lucky enough to be spending 18 days in the Riviera Maya from May 13th to the 31st. We have only stayed at AI's in the past, but have decided to split the trip into multiple lodging and pueblo destinations. We will be staying in Playa del Carmen from May 17th to the 20th and are looking at three really budget hotel options (so we can save our money for margaritas and tacos), but we are having a difficult time deciding between these three options:
Playa del Carmen Hotel by H&A Club Yebo Hotel Real del Mayab There is only a $5 a night difference in price from highest to lowest (30-35 a night) so that really doesn't matter. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Mike |

I am really excited that Mrsr05 likes Club Yebo, we are there for our first time in June, any contact with them has been handled perfectly and so many Playa.Info folks love Club Yebo....I think you would be happy with them......

I am guessing that capricho7 meant Coco Rio as it is a hotel. I walked over and checked their rates last night. Rates now are from $79 to $99/night depending on the size room. With no pool I think those rates are a little high for this time of year.
Not sure about Las Palmas (condo) rates though. |
