Tomorrow night we are suppose to be going to a Mexican restaurant at the National Harbor in D.C. They make the best guacamole and margaritas!!! I just hope it's not jammed packed!!

I'm have an eye doctor's appointment tomorrow afternoon. I really need new glasses. They screwed my last pair up and I got so disgusted with them I just didn't go back.... but I need to see. I also want to get a new pair of prescription sunglasses....prescription sunglasses are da bomb!!!

Went into work for the cinco de mayo lunch party. Lots of good food. Ate a little, visited a little, packed up a togo plate and came home. That's a good day at work. Picked up a big pork shoulder yesterday on the way home from the doctor. Going to make a big crockpot of chili verde for cinco de mayo and maybe crack open a couple of my agave lime home brews. Yum.

I haven't tried the beer yet but it tasted promising when I (my daughter) bottled it. Nice and light with a good lime and agave nectar flavor. Tastes a bit like a beer and margarita mixed together. An interesting brewing experiment if nothing else.

You sound like J- when we lived in Maine he made a Blue Spruce Stout because we had an abundance of blueberries and spruce trees. It was......interesting.

Party on, Mel! Note the correct grammar you've been teaching me.

Party on, Mel. Instead of, party on Mel.

But either way, have a great weekend.

Yes. The comma in a direct address. Very important.

Went to the lab early this morning.

They took blood and pee

Results are trickling in

So far everything is normal, except for the one that usually isn't for diabetics and it is below the target set by the American College of Clinical Endocrinologists

Ain't medicine fun

I started my weekend officially by meeting a friend for dinner at a 'Farmer's' restaurant. It is close to my place but I have never been there. It was good. Now I am off.... colonoscopy on monday so sunday evening will not be that much fun.
