Smile Best Oceanview Rooms at the Royal

Good Morning,

Can someone please give me suggestions for the best Oceanview rooms at The Royal Playa Del Carmen? I like being by the pool but the rest of my group doesn't really want to be because of the noise. So if you could give me suggestions of Oceanview rooms by the pool and Oceanview rooms not by the pool that would be great.

Thanks so much!

Then you need to be either in the Uxmal wing or the north side of the TUlum wing. This may or may not be possible to get when booking. Generally, the rooms closer to the beach will have more of an ocean view than those further back, but you may find there is little selection when you go to check in depending on the day of the week you are arriving.

The Coba wing and the south side of the Tulum wing surround the pool & can get quite loud.

Hope that helps!

We stayed in room 399 a couple of years ago. Very nice view. Its the closest ocean view room without being ocean front. We didn't notice noise, but it would be possible to get some noise from the pool area.

Room 399 is the first room with the angled balcony. Ocean front building is to the right in the picture.

I always try for 344, 345 or in that general area. These rooms overlook Constituyentes but are very close to the beach so the view is great. Biggest plus, they are quiet. I've had to change rooms because of pool noise, I don't care for the rooms looking over the pool.
