I am having trouble getting onto the website to see the menu, anyone have a link I could try? Also, is it casual dress for dinner, or would my husband need to wear nice pants? Oh, and are reservations recommended?

No link to a menu, sorry, but... NOTHING in Playa needs "nice pants", if you ask me. That's the best part about it!! casual casual and MORE casual!!

There have been some issues there. I heard they are only open for breakfast now. For the time being. Or, perhaps, that has already changed.
If they are open...it's casual.

Curious about this place as I've always heard such great things about the restaurant but never see anyone eating here?

I've been a couple of times. It's a very nice setting. The staff is very friendly and make you feel at home. The food... is very okay. The menu - at least when I was there - was aimed to be fine dining and the prices would suggest the same. They just didn't pull it off.
