Cranberry farming
I live in SE Massachusetts, cranberry land. Thousand's of acres of cranberry bogs, many are well over 100 year's old.
Wisconson got into cranberry's with newer hybrid vines and now produces more berries to the acre. The farmers around here are strippng the old and planting the hybrids now.... ![]() The vines are scatterd by hand over a sand / peat base..... ![]() ![]() Then a tractor with vertical disks pushes them down and a roller at the rear flattens them in.... ![]() ![]() ![]() Click to watch video Then in fall they harvest....
