The Big return!!!

We are looking at returning to Playa after a 5 year absence. So out of the loop on the goings on now. Looking for a nice but economical place to stay near 5th Ave. We have stayed at Posada Freud, Luna Blue ( pre bar and pool) Maya Bric, and Luna Azul in previous trips. This should give you an idea of what we are looking for. Not sure what is the same and what has changed in Playa. Any tips on the good places would be greatly appreciated.

OMG, Jeff and Julie! Good to see you on here! I'm kinda partial to Playa Maya right on the beach. I stayed there last summer and just booked for June into July this summer. Hope ya'll are going well. Ya'll have been doing the Jamaica thing right? ~~Karen

Yes Karen, we have been going to Jamaica for 5 years now, but it is time for a change. We have been all around that entire island, and looking to see what has changed in the Yucatan. Good to see you still here.

Club Yebo - Playa del Carmen

We got a one bedroom apartment there, and we liked it. We like having a kitchen - it also had a little balcony overlooking the pool.

The Luna Blue os still a great place and now has a pool. Great people that visit the bar and close to everything.
