Bruce & Pam cruise the Southern Caribbean-Mostly photos

The last day, Saturday, was a full day at sea as we head back to Puerto Rico. That day is good for winding down, relaxing, some more food and drink and packing up for the trip home. I will be adding some final thoughts and some final photos.

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments! I appreciate them all.
It really was a nice week with nothing to complain about. Some photos just to end this report.

We enjoyed hanging out on the balcony.



Most nights about 10:30 we went up this corridor to the disco where the bar staff kept us entertained.







Mario, on the right, is just a really nice young man who is just wonderful at what he does. He was on our last cruise and went out of his way to make sure we had a positive experience, and this time was no different.

I have looked through this report a few times in the last week or so, I love your pictures. I have been to St. Maarten, Aruba and Grenada, but it was great to see it through your eyes. I really want to go back!

We have cruised several times, and it's been since 2006. I would love to cruise again, but it's so cost prohibitive with the 2 boys...you really need to get 2 adjoining cabins (especially since they are getting older). Some of the newer ships have bigger suites, but even those are way too pricey. I could spend 3 weeks in Mexico for that cost!

Thanks very much kaki! I completely understand and agree with your thoughts on the cost. After reading your recent trip report, I can't imagine your children enjoyng a cruise nearly as much as they did Mexico.

We've cruised quite a few times, mostly because my wife really enjoys traveling this way. I have told her I am ready to give cruising a break for a while. We'll see how that goes.

I really enjoyed both Aruba and Grenada, with Aruba being on the short list for a land vacation. I will also look into what it might cost to also include Grenada.
