Whale shark season is upon us!!!!

Tomorrow is our first whale shark trip of the season. We have a permit to run this trip for 4 months. We sent up a helicopter and saw about 400 here already! Sign up now for your once in a life time trip now...spaces are limited. Have a look at what one of our trips out to visit the gentle giants is like here:

That's funny, it is my family in the video. I cannot even begin to describe what an amazing day it was, it took a few days to smack the smile off my face . My five year old loved it and we cannot wait to do it again this summer.

Jason was amazing and we will go with him again. His website is Diving Playa Del Carmen, Dive Centers Playa del Carmen, Small Groups

I cannot remember the cost, the best I can remember is that it was in the range of 700 US for five of us. We also drove ourselves, following Jason from Fantasea Dive. I do know though, whatever the cost was, it was money well spent and cannot wait to do it again this summer.

Children are not any less, as they are still taking space on the boat and, I believe, that there needs to be a ratio between the amount of people on the boat and the operators. In addition, some operators will not take children under the age of 12.

Does anyone know of a whale shark tour that takes out a smaller group? My understanding is that the typical groups are 10+ people on the boat. I was hoping for something smaller and realize it will cost more. I was originally thinking of flying from PDC to Isla Holbox but that's a little out of my budget. I have heard of one called Mystic Encounters(or something like that) out of Cozumel that takes small groups...anyone hear anything about them?? Thanks!
