Best place to buy beer?

Got some liquor thanks to reccomendation and directions to La Europea. Now I need to find a case of beer. Is my best bet to catch a cab to Walmart or mega? Is there anywhere within walking distance from playa maya that has decent beer prices?

It is only like 6 blocks up there and the prices are better generally. Catch the cab back if need be with beer and other provisions. Pick it up on the street (taxi)and it is cheaper also.

OXOX stores all over the place, not sure about the case, but 12 packs of SOL and more. Not the cheapest but very handy.

Beers get a little pricey when you have them delivered to you all day, even by the bucket full. Like the other poster said, the OXXO or other places usually sell a six pack for around 50 - 60 pesos. At least that is what the price was last year. Planning on having lunch at Playa Maya tomorrow so we might see you there.

We walked to Walmart and got a case of Corona. We are in good shape now! We have big insulated mugs so i think I'll get a few frozen drinks from he bar at the hotel today.

Yes. "Sin alcohol" = without alcohol.

Was at Wal Mart this morning and they carry SOL Cero (non alcoholic) beer.

I have found O'Douls Amber & regular at either Walmart or Mega (can't remember exactly)
