Help? Want to rent an apartment.

Hello guys!Iam new on this forum.Looks very good!
I am unsecure so i wondered if somebody of you knew how i could rent an apartment for one month in november securely?

I have been in playa 2times 2011 and 2012.
Love the place.
So this time i want to bee longer in playa and want to rent an appartment but ive heard so mutch about people been scammed and all this.
So could you guys help me?

since your so new,,id recommend you go there, get a hotel for a few nights or somewhere to stay and then walk around town and see what you like and prices,,,then you can just pay cash for the rental,,,this way you will get exactly what you want,,,you cant swing a dead cat without hitting a place for rent,,,try 10th ave from 8 to 30th,,lots of places

But isn't it a bit risky to just go down without renting something?And what is the prices,very high?2000-4000pesos?We just need a 1-2bedroom for 1 month in november.
But i will take a look at all this links,are they secure to rent from those sites?

There has been so much building in Playa over the past decade that there is now loads of places to rent. Book yourself a well located hotel room for two or three nights and spend your days walking around checking to landscape. You can walk in and see condos first hand. If you make a cash offer you will get a great rate and everyone wins.

the biggest problem with rent site unseen is that some of the pictures are years old,,,and they dont exactly show you the details inside,,,such as cutlery and towels,,,i recommend before you rent unseen you have one of the locals go and check it out for you...that way you dont have any surprises when you arrive....

i have heard only good things about it,,,but i think its a ways uptown like 34 th street?? but yes it is nice from what i hear...

Yeah now i can see it.but,i cant see where the shopping street is?is it long away to go?safe place croc condo's are placed yes?
