I am a moderator over on the Barcelo board and I for one, have not been contacted by someone who I couldn't grant access to. Not sure where you sent your e mails regarding any problems that you were having but if you tell me what name(s) you registered under, I can go in and check to see if they actually went through and get you set up immediately. Rooms 1 and 12 are regular, standard rooms but have bigger balconies because they are next to junior suites, which are rooms 2 and 11.
Master suites are something completely different. They are much larger, have a jacuzzi, dining table and chairs and a living area that is seperate from the rest of the room. There are only 5 of them at the hotel and they are extremely difficult to book. I have never been able to book them for anyone with any of my suppliers, that room category is just not usually availabe but I have booked a standard room and then contacted the hotel to ask for an upgrade. Once folks hear the price it usually costs TO upgrade to a Master suite, they usually downgrade again!
