Good day folks... I was wondering if anyone knew if there should be a charge to open a new CFE account. I was there the other day doing such and the lady wanted to charge me 200+ pesos to open the account. Just wondered if this was the norm or did I pay her wages for the next 2 days.

Hmmmm. I'm not sure with new accounts if it is the same as changing the name on the account but this is what we had to do for the business.

We had to pay a deposit of 1700MXN, which we will get back if or when we decide to close the account. 200MXN doesn't sound too bad to us!
