Looking for Tennis Players
Hello,
We are moving from Merida Yucatan on June 4th to Playa del Carmen and I am looking for tennis players. I prefer the public free courts if they are open (I've read about a couple) and would like to play at least 2-3 times a week if anyone is interested in the early mornings! Thanks! Chantel |

I also recently arrived in Playa and I'm looking for partners. I am happy to play on the free courts or pay to join a club. Does anyone know of mix-in days where you can just turn up and get a game with whoever shows up?

I found out recently that if you show up after 9AM on weekdays to the courts @ the "Deportivo Mario Villanueva" at 34th and 10th, you can definitely find a game. There is a group that plays there regularly.
I found out that it's possible that before 9AM there might be lessons going on some weekdays. Seems that weekends are anybody's guess. |

Tennis
I will be in Playa Del Carmen for a week starting July 27th. I contacted MexTravelFun and it sounds like we are going to hit, but if anyonce else is interested in hitting that would be great. I play at least 3 times a week at and I like to play every day on vacation if I can find people to hit with. I know that I have a few lighted courts at my hotel that we could play at, but I am willing to go to other courts as well.
Also, does anyone know of an tennis pro that I could hire to take a few lessons? Thanks everyone! |
