We get to board if first now that Kathy has her cane. That was all right. She sure does get around better with it, now that she does not have to look at the ground right in front of her feet. If you were to to look through the tube that paper towels or toilet paper comes on, that is pretty close to her field of vision
Going down to meet her sister for the breakfast buffet now |

Have a nice trip, Bonny! Wish you were going in June, we could have a bigger Chicago Peep Meet.
![]() It's not a long weekend up here. I'm headed out of town Sun/Mon/Tues for a conference, taking a ferry to a small town on the Island. It's a great area to visit, but I'll be at the conference and in meetings all day each day, so it'll be all work and no play. |

Kathy and her sis are getting their nails done across the street. I have done a little shopping and am at a Denny's having coffee. Afterwards we will go to old town, St. Charles ( on the Missouri River) for lunch.
We are staying at a Casino, rooms comped because there are a couple of gamblers in the family. Kathy's sister's gambling buddy is arriving this afternoon. Well, they are old friends, not just gambling buds. Breakfast this morning was comped, have a coupon worth $70 toward supper. I guess it is good for us to have gamblers in the family, never thought of it that way before. I may play a little blackjack tonight, who knows? It was fun though. I stayed at a hotel right across the street from the arch. it was a corner room with 2 big windows with the Arch and river for the view. I thought the Arch was awesome. Way, WAY bigger in person than I imagined it to be.
