Call home ASAP Emergency!!
That s the message I seen when I went to check my e-mail at one of the free Wi-Fi establishment I visit during the day .
I was in Playa buying ceiling fans , tiles ,tv brackets for our unit , soon to be completed . Eating at the places that you good people recommended like c Carboncitos , El fogon ,Don Sirloin and more When I seen the message I,went frantic my AT&T cell said no service, FaceTime wasn't working, so I bought a calling card , line busy ,busy busy by now I had tears in my eyes when a good Samaritan seen I could get thru lent me his phone to call the States . When I got thru my son answered the phone and said to call mommy on her cell phone , that she would tell me After yelling at him to tell me he said that Bentley our beloved Americanm Bulldog Had passed away that morning , apparently of an aneurysm I could believed it ,he was in perfect health only 7 years old I dreaded going home and Bentley not greeting me by the front door Thanks for listening You have a great forum for the new people coming into,Playa |

So sorry to hear about your loss. It hurts to lose an unconditional friend like that. We lost our golden, Lucy, last year and last night I was going through a bunch of fotos and came accross some pics of her in better days. I didn't know it would still hurt so much, but it does.
Hang in there pizzaman, hang in there.

Oh no, I can't imagine what you went through not knowing what the emergency was, and what you're going through now knowing that your beloved Bentley has passed on. I lost my sheltie in February and still cry every day. Take care of yourself ((()))

Damn. I'm sorry for you. I'm a dog person and have been through it many times. Never gets easier. I've got an old lab now that's slowing down fast. I know her days are numbered.
I try and focus on the joys of their companionship through life and not the end. The only thing I can offer you in your case is he went instantly. No suffering. A painful blow to you, best way to go for him.

So so sorry to hear about this......
![]() My 3 "kids" are up in years, one is 15, the other 2 are 12. Whenever I go on a trip I worry. They are kenneled when I am gone and I ALWAYS tell the kennel to email me if anything happens. I get a huge sigh of relief when I "don't" hear from the kennel..... |

I'm so, so sorry, pizzaman. We lost our 11 year old Saluki suddenly a year ago. It's such a hard thing to go through. We've since adopted two young dogs from Playa, but it's still so hard to think of our Ramses. They become such an important part of our lives.
