Coffee

Maybe it's just me but I truly think the coffee in mexico is the best ever... maybe because i'm looking out over the ocean when i drink it... anyway... My Sgt.. loves really strong coffee.. .he drinks chikory quite often which to me is like motor oil.. Can someone tell me a strong Mexican coffee that would be good to bring back to him??

I love the coffee at Ah Cacao, and they sell bags to take home. There are two locations, Constituyentes just west of 5th avenida, and the corner of Calle 30 and 5th avenida.

I usually bring home some of this coffee- you'll see it for sale around town.

I'll have to try the coffee at Ah Cacao.

We agree, it is good stuff. When we were in Cordoba, Veracruz, we discovered how good the coffee from Mexico really is. Now we try only to buy the Veracruz grown...Portales or Santa Fe brand are good IMO.
