Coming from Isla to Playa

We plan on spening our first few days on isla before our weeks stay in Playa. Is there a bus station close to the ferry drop off. I've read many times how easy it is to take the bus from the airport so figured we may try this. Do we need to go back to the airport or can we catch something closer. Will this be a straight shot to playa or will we have to transfer.

We usually arrange private transportation but are feeling a little more adventurous this year.

Thanks for any tips you may have.

Take a taxi from the ferry stop to the downtown Cancun bus station and catch a bus to Playa from there.

From the airport take the ADO bus to Cancun (main ADO terminal). From there take a taxi to the UltraMar ferry dock. Simple.
Coming from the ferry dock once you are in Cancun, take a taxi back to the main ADO bus terminal and then take the ADO bus from the main terminal to Playa. Look for the separate booth/line for the ADO Playa bus. Simple.
