Question about airport transfer

Good morning. Newbie online here, appreciate all the trip reports and information.

We plan on using USA Transfers to go from Cancun to Barcelo.

However, our flight back to the states, leaves Cancun at 5:15 PM.

I know check out will be much earlier. What should we do the last day, and where would we have the transfer pick us up?

It's a round trip transfer, they'll pick you up at the same place they dropped you off - the Barcelo.

If your flight leaves at 5:15pm, you have to be at the airport by 3:15pm. You'd leave Barcelo about 2:00pm. Check out is 12:00pm and it sometimes can take a bit of time TO check out. You don't have a lot of wasted time there. I would just check out, go have some lunch or sit at the bar until your transfer shows up. You can use the facilities while waiting for your transfer, even after you've checked out. Or, you could ask for a late check out that morning, an extra hour or so.

I'm not sure it would be a good idea to head into Playa, with all your luggage and belongings with you, to walk around and have the transfer company pick you up there - if that's what you were thinking anyway.

Can't say enough about USA Transfers -- yesterday, we got dropped off at condo, I (once again) left my camera in the van, driver had left when I noticed. Jorge at the desk at El Faro called USA, the ylocated the driver, 10 minutes later he returns with my camera.

Love USA Transfers!! I agree with Shammy, just check out and enjoy the resort for a few more hours. The resort will keep your luggage safe for you. Have a great trip!
