You better hope that works! Because with my knee stretching didn't work. The next step is electrical shock! Now if that isn't fun.....NOT! Then the dang muscles were not only awake....they were MAD!

You should really do yourself a big favor and make sure your wife reads it.

Although you might want to wait for your back to get better first.

Best seller trashy novel. Think bodice-ripper romance novel with kinky sex. Not exactly great literature. It's one of those "Why am I reading this?" books that you can't put down.

Trying to get these numbers up so I can have my "birthday surgery" in July.
Believe it or not I am looking forward to that even though I know it is not a walk in the park.

Everything else is stable !
I have short short short hair now ! and lots of eyelashes !
Rebound !

modern pharmacology is a good thing !

Yay Tammy
The natural way to do that is to go to an altitude of over 5K feet for a couple of days :-)...

I have been taking potassium supplements for a long time. A couple of years ago the dosage was increased, and this year it was increased again, which is what put my doctor onto thinking about hyperaldosteronism, though the endocrinologist tells me that can occur without the common lowering of potassium levels.

So, in a couple of weeks I will have a test done, and if the infusion of two liters of saline solution does not have a significant impact on my aldosterone level and the aldosterone renin ratio, then it is onto a CT scan to look for one or more adrenal adenoma or bilateral hyperplasia.

From what I read this is a disease of adulthood, with most cases happening in the 4th to 6th decades of life.

Medscape: Medscape Access

Here is the good news, if that is what mine is:

Quote:
Adrenocortical carcinomas that are purely aldosterone-secreting are exceedingly rare and are usually large at the time of diagnosis. Unilateral adrenocortical hyperplasia is a rare occurrence.
I like the words exceedingly rare close to the word carcinoma

Me too
There is a more common genetic component related to hyperaldosteronism, and that is much more common than the hyperplasia or adenoma/carcinoma. You have probably seen THIS article.

Got the saline suppression test results.

They were inconclusive.

Back to the endocrinologist
