Farmacias blasting music. Telcel stores blasting music. The liquor departments at stores blasting music. And their sound systems soooo suck!
When we were in Patzcuaro, we were amazed at the LOUD sound system on the propane for sale truck rolling down the streets at 6am BLASTING the "dah-dah-dah-dah da dah.....CHARGE!!! musical ditty commonly heard at sports events. Deafening!! If we wanted to buy propane, we certainly would have NO DOUBT they were in the neighborhood!

I think it would already help to lowre the basses. It is the 'thump, thump, thump' that makes everyone crazy. We have had an issue with the pub in my building at home but ever since they lowered the basses (without lowering the volume of the music) we don't have any more problems. But now it is a pub somewhere close that has this 'thump, thump, thump' that keeps me awake at night. Just haven't found out which one yet...

Our years of living in the area suggest that that will not change and that no such problem will be resolved or really even affected one way or the other, no matter what the locale is.

I was going to add "or who the entities involved are", but then I thought, if you are for example the mayor and have a problem with noise somewhere near your home, you might get results.
How very true. It is very different here than home, and that includes a lot of things I like, and a few I don't.

I live very close to an ex Mayor of Playa. There is no noise in my area at all, ever. I don't expect there ever will be.

Mamitas/kool beach

Lets make something clear here both are called KOOL BEACH CLUB and MAMITAS BEACH CLUB for a reason. That CLUBS play music! I've been coming to playa and living here for years. It is a great place that locals and tourists alike mingle and can party by the sea. I suggest playacar resorts if u want a quiet stay.

That's quite a generalization. So by your definition every Country Club, Sports Club, Garden Club should be blasting the music also.
Couldn't resist

I can find many places (not in Playacar) where it is "quiet". And the beers don't cost me 45 pesos.
Give me the south (of Constituyentes) end, any day.

I put a "meh" on Fusion because I think the place is a ripoff.
I like El Pirata and Lido because they are a great value.
