It has been brought to my attention that most of you are not fond of me or my forum verbiage. For whatever reason, for whatever justification you have, that’s perfectly fine. Your mind is made up and I’m not going to try to convince you otherwise. I joined this forum to get information and partake in good-willed camaraderie. My online/print personality is what is. It’s too bad I am not designed in such a manner that is approved by the naysayers – or, rather by those that have an issue with me. (Your posts speak for themselves, btw.)

So with that said…
I have most of what I need as far as forum information.

That's silly, Ana. Peeps might be giving you a good ribbing for your posting style, but so what? It's unusual. Many an oddball introductions to the forum have led to the new person fitting in just fine and making lots of friends. When snappysammy joined he was doing this cryptic/mysterious thing and you got the idea that an inside joke was going on because other folks knew that he's lived in Playa for years. I started a poll thread: Who Is Snappysammy? All in good fun.

Your third person sign offs remind me of the old SNL skit, The Dakato Fanning Show. Amy Poehler had a lot of fun with that, not because she despised Dakota Fanning, but because as a wise-beyond-her-years child actress, she was just a bit precious, you know? Again, all in good fun.

Btw, I clicked on your end of the world animation link. Love it!

P.S. the political threads are always looking for new recruits. We tend to get along better than the General forum, in my experience.

I don't know, Mellie- some of the comments directed against Ana seemed mean spirited and not really called for- but I hope that's just me misunderstanding them.

To Ana- there's no way you can please everyone all the time, so I hope you ignore the few who you feel don't "like" or "get" you and keep on posting anyways And have a fabulous trip!

Not that I am complaining, I love a little drama queen posturing/oddities/weirdness around here from time to time....it livens things up!
