Weekend Party Thread

Well since it is Friday and no one has came forward I will!

Tonight meeting with girlfriends at the Summer Arts Festival, wine tasting. And Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, a swing dance music! Taking a 6 pack of craft beers, cheese, crackers. One of the girls has already (at 6:30 AM) set chairs out at "our spot"!

Tomorrow going to dinner with hubby at a Greek seafood place.

And Sunday I believe I will be smoking a honey/maple/mustard rubbed fresh ham! Add some scalloped potatoes and collard greens I'll be a happy camper!

Plans everyone?

WooHoo! Party weekend Of course, school ended Tues, so it's been like a whole party week for me Which coincided w/ summer arriving, so of course I hit the beach! Just got back from a brunch at a friend's beach house. Tomorrow and Sunday are all about another friend's wedding- girl's picnic tomorrow and actual wedding on Sunday.

Mexisv- I could totally go for some dancing tonight- mind if I join your crew?

Party on, party folks!

More than welcome! And we are at the age where we have a couple glasses of wine or beer and let our hair down. Don't think I am dancing right......don't watch! Love my group!

As far as I'm concerned, dancing "right" involves having a smile on your face and having fun Although, I think I can sometimes have some weird expressions when I'm dancing Feel free to make fun of me, though- I can take it

I am home with some good looking pork chops, a lovely wife, an already mowed yard and a box of Merlot

Wine mixer at the sandbar tomorrow: Sunny and 87 degrees is the forecast. The pontoon finally has a CD player, and the dogs have a new dog boat ladder thing to get in and out. I'll be making my favorite summer drink: vodka, mint, squeeze of fresh pink grapefruit, and soda water.

I was asked if Bonny and I wanted to go the Sandbar this weekend, but alas bowling starts tomorrow. Might be a different Sandbar than the one you are talking about, this one is at Havasu and requires outrageously over-built boats that reach speeds of 70+ and very skimpy body coverage. Although the drinks may be similar.

This one's in the middle of Coldwater lake, Michigan. It requires a slow moving pontoon that you sort of beach/park there and a really big cooler.

The cooler is the same. A gas bbq that bolts on to the boat railings. And beads. Yep, sounds the same.

Niiice. One guy out here has a some kind of BBQ set up where he digs a big piece of pipe into the sand as a grill stand where the water is about a foot. It's pretty funny.

The one in AZ requires pasties
They even sell them at the snack bars.

Hope you have a great time melliedee!
