Opening ports on telmex router
Does anyone have experience opening up ports on the telmex echolife router.
I am having problems with a voip phone and need to either open up ports on telmex router ( ive been giving the details by service provider) or put a fixed ip address into dmz. Can someone give me the steps regarding the above? Thanks |

Open up http://192.168.1.254, it will prompt for your a username (TELMEX) and a wep key (it's printed on the back of your router). My router is not the same model as yours, so I'm not sure if the interface is the same to make those ports available to your IP address.

Opening ports on telmex router
I know the ip address and username/pw combination. I have tried opening ports for both the various combinations of tcp and udp required. Still doesnt work.I suspect there is still a setting or two that needs to change that i have missed.
If anyone has opened up the ports for this router, do you have a screenshot? Thanks |
