single Canadian gal on my way to Playa

I will be arriving in Playa del Carmen early September. I am looking for advice on meeting other Canadians? and finding a decent but cheap apartment?

You can search Andale.mx for an apartment. I'm also heading down in September but not from Canada, but sometimes I sound like I am....

Canadians can be found everywhere on and near 5th, and along the beach. I have met some great ones during my trips.
But take it from me...there are fantastic friends to be made from many places. I have met some wonderful people from the USA ( extra shout out to Indianapolis) , Norway, Germany and of course Mexico.

It's all good.

you can spot the Canadians with great ease - they walk 5th with maple leaves on their privates.

Hi Super Kitty, try craigslist yucatan or andale.mx for apartments, and you can also reach out to Gabby Waldert over at Playa Rentals. Just google her and you'll find her site.

There is a section of this forum called Peep Stuff. That's where you can meet others and plan outings, dinners, beach days, etc. And hey, there are lots of Americans, British, and Europeans who are very nice too!
