beginners scuba at RPRM or nearby?

thinking maybe while I'm down there I may surprise myself and try out scuba diving? anyone have any suggestions on where a good place to go is?

...free scuba lessons in the pool at the rprm offered by scuba caribe......also, check out riu class, free customer loyalty program...having the card should get you a discount on other scuba caribe offerings at the rprm...

thanks for being so helpful I figured they might have something there... and whats "riu class" and where would one get that? front desk?

...de nada... go to the riu class website...sign up for temporary card which you will be able to print...after your first stay, you'll receive your permanent card...you can also earn points for your stays, and points can be used in subsequent stays for laundry services, etc...works out nicely...lots of information about the program at the website...
