Eat out. The food is great.

For a three day trip, you probably won't even be around your place for lunch.
Breakfast? Easy.
And with four girls, one of them can't cook?

Can they open a box of cereal and pour milk?
Where are you staying?

You'll likely be on the beach at lunch time - doubtful you'll want to pack up and head back to a condo for luch. Most people just order from the beach club. Or, just head to Mega and get some cold cuts, bread, sandwich fixins if you do want to make your own lunch. Doesn't have to be difficult or have to be cooked. Breakfast is so easy - pick up yogurt, cereal, or eggs, bacon, chorizo, hash browns, etc. if you want something more substantial. I would think someone could figure out how to cook some eggs, no? Or, head out to breakfast - there are some great places you'll miss if you eat breakfast in every day. La Cueva del Chango, Vagabunda, 100% Natural - the list goes on and on - you can always find great breakfasts on 5th, or off 5th. It will probably cost just as much, if not more, to hire someone to cook these meals for you!

Like others have mentioned best to keep it simple. When you go to the Mega for your drink supply you can pick up some snacks and breakfast stuff for the condo.

You will like the variety of fun places to eat at lunchtime. The beach clubs have good food with variety for many tastes and it is low cost.
I'd recommend you keep your days spontaneous and not be tied down
to returning to your condo each afternoon because you paid for a cook when you are already out and about and having fun.

True. But great minor strides have been made to make those bastards a bit easier to open and pour without creating a huge mess.

Some of best vacations we have taken as a family have involved catered-in meals. Nothing better than waking up to a delicious breakfast spread to start the day. I would highly recommend you contact Susan deLima at Uno Events. She has lived in Playa for 8 years and is a wonderful chef. For daily breakfast and lunch, she will likely send her staff who are equally accomplished and very nice. They can set you up with anything from a simple continental buffet or a more elaborate sit-down meal. I would personally go with the more causal approach that allows people to graze at will when they are hungry.

You can contact her at susan@unoevents.com. Let her know I sent you.

I miss the old fiip up spouts that had to be cut with scissors. I invariably end up throwing a tantrum and stabbing the foil pull tab with a knife once every three days or so.

It's not just Mexican engineers who have outlived their usefulness. I don't know if you've seen Costco's milk jugs or not, but I will never buy another one. A jug cannot be poured without some going onto the counter/floor.
