Google Nexus 7
Got mine last night after getting rid of my old busted 10" Viewsonic G-tab. I have to say this tablet is impressive. Tethered to my Razr Maxx it is a great platform with very nice performance. Anyone else have one?
Disclaimer: My old Viewsonic was only busted because I was updating the ICS build and it narfed the boot partition. |

Anyone that is considering this device....very easy to unlock and root which allows the use of OTG cables. OTG cables allow you to plug in USB (SD card, micro SD etc.) to get more storage. Also very easy to overclock.. >=) 1.6GHz with no problems...not even a significant impact to the battery.

, and it is not a religion. It may have been a bit hyperbolic, though. My experiences with Apple as a customer and as an investor are closely intertwined and positive. If I ever do buy an Android device, I will announce it here. |

Lol..completely lost track of this thread.
I buy what I think is the better product for me. I dont need or want a simplistic technical device. I like to have control to either use them out of the box where Android has closed teh gap with iOS for ease of use or by unlocking and rooting the device to allow for OC'ing or to make other performance and kernal level changes that I may want. As with my GTAB I understand there are risks when you play like I do but that is me. For a quick update...the Nexus 7 was a great tool for our recent vacation. Still teh best 7" 200.00 tablet available. Interested to see if Google goes for the 10" designs. |

It's good to have faith in the product if you're going to invest...although spending that much money on one brand name seems a bit wasteful when technology changes so quickly. Also if I'm being honest, the latest iteration of the iPhone's technology seems a bit lacking in the advancement department...but seeing as you are an investor I'm sure that it is comforting in the fact that people are willing to line up around the block overnight for an expensive device that doesn't really offer more. I have to say I find comfort in the fact that functionality and flexibility exists elsewhere much cheaper, and that I can purchase the latest and greatest technology without feeling sick over spending god awful amounts over and over...but as always, different strokes for different folks.
