Pizza testing anyone?
Pizza Artisanale anyone...........right out of a vending machine. On my walkabout town tonight I came upon a new machine outside of Aki. It vends 6 kinds of hot pizza. The sign on top of the "pizza maker" announces a 40 peso promotion: "Pizza Italiana de Queso" = cheese pizza. You just put your cash in, press the button for one of 6 pizzas and in 2 to 3 minutes your pizza comes out hot . Okay, who is going to try it first and report back? Rick and Sue? Snappy?

What will they think of next

Are there eateries open near that machine that are open when the bars close? Folks staggering out of the clubs in the wee hours of the morning might welcome that vending machine.

No way would I buy a pizza out of a vending machine. That's why I load up on snacks to keep in my hotel room.

Mixes flour and water to make a dough??? Odd. Without yeast and time the dough will be a cracker and have no chew whatsoever.

At last glance I did not notice a shortage of pizza in Playa so I'll be staying away from the pizza vending machine.

Maybe there is a little person in the box fixing it for you. You really need to try it out so you can tell us all about it .

When I see or hear of this kind of "high-tec stuff", I'm reminded of the movie Soylent Green.
