I found that Mexico is not my fav spot for wines. After a lot of misses my wife yanked me away from the wine section at Mega , and said "Don't you like this stuff"?
She was pointing at a bottle of Havana Club 7 year Rum.

I said " You know how I get with this stuff".

She says "We're on vacation".

I grabbed 4 bottles( actually empty boxes) that you pay for ... then get the bottles.

Try it....

We had an episode( ok me) at the duty free in bound at CUN. Wanting to pick up vodka for the condo, I decided to grab Absolut. And knowing of the different colors and falvors of the bottles i made a bee line for the blue bottle.
Ok it looked blue(regular vodka flavor) when we got to the condo with our tonic in hand to make a drink; it was actualy a purple colored bottle. You really can't drink thay stuff. We tried but it wouldn't go down. Gifted one and left the other for th sercurity guards. Lesson learned.

I was steaming some shrimp last week and digging around in the fridge for beer to steam it with. I found a couple of Bud-light limes. Afterwards I had to think back about how long ago I bought them. Then it occurred to me- June, of 2009! That's how good those babies taste.

Wow...yeah. I usually use Best Day and ask the driver to stop at 7-11 right outside of the airport. Bought six of these abominations and drank one. Naturally I had to act like it was great so my wife would taste it too.

I agree. Especially with gin as I'm not a vodka drinker. It should only be "infused" with one of two things. Vermouth or tonic. On site.
