Best New Restaurant/Bar in Playa?

Headed down to Playa again (last time was late last year, but had kids with us, so never made it downtown) - have not been downtown playa for about 3 years.

It has changed so much, and so fast, over the years....

1 - what is the best, must see new restaurants/bars?

2 - what is the absolute best place to get real, authentic fajitas?

Thanks!

Wa-Wa, beach between Calle 2 y Juarez, is likely new to you .... huge palapa structure w/sports TV, good food, excellent entertainment ... not cheap, but very good

Agreed. Wa Wa's is great. Friday night two for one pizzas and a great live band if your into 90's rock, which I am.

Wah Wah
Actually, I think the prices are very reasonable. Not expensive at all.

I agree. We thought the prices were fair and the food quality good.

I would add Cameron Caramelo, corner of 34th and 35th for imaginative shrimp dishes. And Club de la Cervasa, 5th just south of 38th for an outstanding collection of beer and knowledgeable staff.

I don't think Wah Wah's prices are bad at all, especially considering that they are on the beach. I actually think the prices are very good.

I'll 2nd Club de la Cerveza and add Imprevist for something a bit fancier or a special occasion.

Have to offer another vote for WahWah's - as a beach club during the day it is top notch! Great view with a large, expansive beach. Delicious food and good prices, and the service was attentive each time we have visited. It is also a great place to hang out at night, but for us it is the BEST beach club!

Is the Wah Wah menu online anywhere?

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but Wah Wah has also started streaming their events here (and the videos stay up afterwards)

Glad to hear they're making it. A new favorite of ours.
