I can only speak to the IB* Quetzal... where they do not charge for a towel card. You get it when you check in. If you lose it, there might be a charge I would imagine... so maybe that's where you got the $10 from?

I'm so with you, I can't wait to get back. I'm not going until September but I will be there a full two weeks. Have a blast!

We are going to IB Quetzal 5/29 ....any info anyone could give me? We usually go over to Cozumel, but this year we wanted to try Playa. I read about nude beaches and such, so is all of the "anything" goes kinda stuff at Coco and north?

The cool thing about the IB* Quetzal is that you can go to the IB* Cozumel if you want to take the ferry over. Same deal at the Quetzal, everything included. It was kinda fun to see a different resort, but we thought the Quetzal was much nicer than the Cozumel.

As far as nude beaches, I do not know but I know there have been a few posts on this topic. At IB* Quetzal beach topless was fairly common.

Hope that helps!

Can you tell me anything about a free shuttle from the ferry ports to the Iberostar resorts? I seem to heard it somewhere but not sure. We have always stayed at Iberostar, Toucan but are doing the Coz resort this year.. I like the beach so I might be spending most of my time in PDC... LOL Thanks for any input
