Just thinking back to vagabond's (
) posts, one could uncharitably conclude that a guy on his own in Playa is focused on getting laid. Which, in some circles may indeed become a social event, but is more normally a one-on-one kinda thing.
I think women on their own would tend to be more socially-oriented than a guy on his own would be. More focus is put on the overall vacation experience, and meeting other people (safety in numbers, etc.) I think of our Andrea as a shining example of this. You go, girl!
I know we at playa love our guys who are the exception to this rule. I think of BigDave and Kinz, Paul from England ... I'm sure there are others.
