Thanksgiving in the USA

What are people's plans?

We don't have any yet, and might be fishing for some

I love Thanksgiving!

The whole extended family crew is headed up to the lake to cook a big dinner there. Air mattresses, dogs, chaos, booze, and lots of food.

Will probably just be over the post trip blues, that feeling you get after leaving paradise and come back to the real world.

We will be flying home from MX on Thanksgiving day. Big dinner planned at some random airport restaurant yet unknown. But it is a big group of family and friends *wanting to kill each other after a week together* so any place will be a special Thanksgiving indeed.

We might drive down to Somona or Napa. Anyone want to meet us there?

We would arrive Thursday evening, assuming accommodations there can be had.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.....but we are having it early this year because hubby will be overseas. I was sick last year and really could not cook or eat. But this year I am making out my menu and grocery/to list. I plan on inviting my family and the hubs side as well......a free for all ! The more the merrier. Cajun Style Thanksgiving. Lots of food, drink, and loud talking, adult beverages....and maybe even a footballgame.

Always room for more at my house.

Driving from Indy to Norfolk VA Navel Base. My Son will be home and not working. Found out for sure tonight.. I will be packing a thawed turkey and pans to cook. Will be a late dinner. The best part will be I will be taking him out friday for our official father, son 21rst birthday drink. Of course I will be getting him drunk. Promise to have a safe ride home.

Wow I might have to add that to my share of what I am taking to sis in laws. I am in charge of veggies and desserts.

Starting my Thanksgiving morning with a 1.5 hour spin class. Fourteen of us donate $10.00 each to a food pantry for the privilege of spinning. About 25 donate $10.00 each for the privilege of an hour Zumba class. Gotta love our Y!

Then off to family feast!
