Hey Al,
Up around the mid 40's between 1st and 5th there's a new building with "My Bloom" or something similar written in tiles on front face. Looks like a mini- mall type building. Any ideas ?

To be specific, some articles are saying "Jewish investors from the US" Why be specific about their faith? I have no freakin' clue!
The article that I quoted in my post #4 from the NYC real estate news, the REAL DEAL, specifically states money is from a Canadian institutional investor. They are talking about the re-development of Calle Corazon.

And I still believe that the Cassab family out of Mexico City is behind the devolpment of 5ta Algeria.

East of Fifth AVenue? North side of road? If that fits, it is a condo building. I think that it is something like "MY BLUE". I think that work has been suspended on the building for, at least, several months now.

Among many other things, Cassab also owns the right to the GUESS brand name in Mexico. He went to business school in the U.S.

Grupo Axo is a partner with GUESS USA for GUESS in Mexico - - Not sure how he could own the rights to the name.

My Blume

Is a condo project with locales (stores) on the main floor. Project is stalled.

Maybe a bit of a concern that's 1.6 trillion dollars.

We should be concerned with the total debt, but not concerned with the 8% that China holds.

Is your headache caused from knowing the national debt equals almost $48,000 for every American household.

OK I'm moving on now :-)

I always thought Calle Corazon was rather overdone and fakey, kinda like what people here are complaining about its replacement being. (shrug)

And I think there are people who used to come to Playa 15-20 years ago who had that same view of what folks here now are calling the good ol' Playa. From around the time of the beginning of our operation, at least, we've seen such people comment that Playa had already gone to the dogs and that Tulum or points farther south were the only place worth going anymore.

I don't agree with that at all.
I haven't seen plans or renderings for the replacement. Only that it would be a hotel and high end boutiques.
