What are safe areas to live in Playa?

Hi. I am brand new to this Forum. I am looking for help/suggestions on areas to live or to avoid in Playa. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know of any unsafe areas.
I have friends that live in Centro, Colosio, Ejido and beyond.

while everyone's comfort level in regards to safety is different... i would avoid colosio as a general rule of thumb. if you are new to playa and ask around most people are going to tell you this.

Well, I have quite a few friends that live there and they've had no issues.
And it's cheap!

And, much of it is closer to the beach than the Ejido

Agree. I suggested moving to a new apartment in Colosio to my fiance because I found a few cheaper places, but he told me all the workers at the his job suggested not to move to this part of town.

Oh well now I know.
I wouldn't stop walking there. I have quite a few friends that live there, and they love it. We're going there this morning to make a delivery of cookies and cupcakes.

Edit: Oh, wait. I think maybe you were being facetious.

Safest areas..

The safest areas are Playacar I and Playacar II, as they are both gated communities..
