Our first night, we decided to eat at Carboncitas

Across the street from Caboncitas is the jellyfish light store, I love looking at those

After dinner we went to our go-to place (almost every night) Manne's. Love the tequila!! and Manne is always so friendly.

He had a German woman in the bar selling bakery. We bought some homemade pretzels and struedel that was to die for.

We called it an early night, after traveling all day and it was raining & chilly.

We also have been to Playa 2 times and loved it..We had planned to go again last Dec. but it did not work out... We are going to try and get there this Dec... maybe we too will say..... 3rd times a charm .... Enjoyed your report and photos... I want a jellyfish light ..They would make great Christmas gifts for others and for ME from ME....

I thought I was done with the report but I forgot to mention our experience at Wickey's. We went there for lunch one afternoon, knowing they sometimes have specials we asked if there was any that day. Our server told us 2 X 1 hamburgers, we hadn't planned on getting 2 but at that price we couldn't pass it up. When we got our bill we were charged for 2. We called the server over and told him what he had said and he said "no" he told us 2 X 1 vodkas. Now, I'm a vodka drinker so if I had heard that I would have been all over it. And I know there's an accent when conversing but I don't think you can mistake "hamburger" for "vodka". We argued the point and got nowhere. It's a shame, nice atmosphere and great view but I would never go back there and don't recommend it unless you want to be scammed. Someone else, after the fact, told us of a similar experience.
