Just wanted to let everyone know that I had the pleasure of eating at Petite Marrakesh with my family and Steve and Delmy Ryberg and the food was great.
The reastaurant is located on Calle Corazon just off of 5th Ave.
Shortly after we arrived, the owner came by the table and proceeded to take all of our menu's from us.
We were than informed that he would send out dishes for us that we would enjoy family style. Given that we had my 6, 9 and 12 year old daughters with us, I was not sure this would work out. I could not have been more wrong.
All of the food served to us was amazing. It started with a salad of pears, peaches, lettuce, tomato and thinly sliced Salamon sashimi on top. The dressing was some type of balsamic vinagrette. It was outstanding.
We were also served some type of white fish in a delicious sauce with artichoke hearts. My 12 year old daughters comment was "I don't like fish and I think this is great."
There was also couscous with vegetables and a saffron rice with raisons. I also highly recommend the lemonade.
I would definitely consider this one of the best meals I have had in Playa. My kids ate so much they barely had enough room to stop for ice cream after lunch.
