Minor league hockey is great!! We had a team here a LONG time ago and it was so much fun. Most of the players were from Canada and spoke french. It was fun to go to the games and especially to see the players and the kids interact with each other. The team played hard to win but never took it too seriously. They loved to play and the fans loved the games.
As an aside, I ended up living with the goalie for about 2 seasons. We managed to communicate! He would always speak french when he called home so I never knew what he was telling his parents about me.
He had great legs....
I love all kinds hockey regardless. Kids, college (men's and women's) and pro. The speed is fascinating.
