There's definitely no nudity allowed, and even topless is somewhat frowned upon at the main pool are beach area (I believe there is even a sign that says "no topless, can't remember). I have seen someone told to put their top on, yet another day someone else who was topless was not told to cover up. There is an adult pool on the other side of the main building, perhaps topless is more accepted there - can't say as I didn't use that pool. This resort is run by an American company, it attracts a lot of American families and as such, I believe it's more "prudish" with it's rules.

The beach is small and manmade, hard packed with not too much sand on top. The snorkeling isn't that good in front, the reef is mostly dead. You'd be better off with a trip south to Akumal if you want to do some decent snorkeling.

There are no clubs in the area and the resort is pretty quiet at night, you have to go into Playa for nightlife. If that's what you're looking for, you're better off staying closer to town, perhaps in the Playacar area.
