Hair Braids !!!

My wife got her hair braided by a group or gang that is on Ave. 5 by the Bus Station in the evening. Don't get your hair done here! They told my wife $20 before they started and when I showed up to pay, they demanded 30$ US. We were too tired to argue... So I gave them $300 peso and we hit the road. This gang of thieves look like the type who will pick your pocket, in my opinion. So hand on to your wallets around these rats is my advice.

Sorry, for the negativity, just wanted to warn other tourist. Otherwise, we Just got back to Iowa from a wonderful week in Playa. Our stay at the Pelicano and Albatros was muy bueno. Mercedes at the Albatros was very helpful.

Snorkling in Cozumel was outstanding at Dzul-Ha and highly recommended. Also, don't miss the fishtaco at Oasis Marises (12th calle, between 5th and 10th Ave) That is all for now. Adios amigos.

We LOVE Dzul-ha! Great snorkeling, we found, nice and shallow for the kids.

Glad you had a great time, that's too bad about the braids.
