This was a 32 mile loop within a national park, that lava flow is part of it....

There is some ruins up ahead....

These ruins are out in the middle of this vast desert type environment, but looks like there was water at one time...........

This in all directions...............

Next stop Winslow AZ............

This is one small town...........

But they have a great hole in the wall Mexican restaurant, "Los Marias"....

Great tamale............

and tacos de tripa with jamacia to drink...........

Love your pictures! I hope to someday go out thata way, however I am wondering if my newly acquired fear of heights might play into the picture?! I can live vicariously through these TR's and feel like I've been there. You've both perfected your photography skills!

Pawn Shops are everywhere......

They didn't roll up the sidewalks though.........................

Beautiful pics! I remember spending a little time at the Winslow, AZ police station years and years ago...one little speed trap that town is..
