Gran Porto May 7th thru 14th

While I am late getting this on here, but I had a great time at Gran Porto... I'll start off by saying anyone who thinks the drinks are watered down your nuts..... The food at Maria's Was top Notch We ate there at least three times during the week amazing food... The morning breakfast was also very good I ate fresh fruit and omelets pretty much every day. one Surprise I found at the Gran Porto was the Italian restaurant,Il Pescatore was very very good. I am not a huge Italian food fan but wow it was Amazing. The guacamole on the beach at the food stand thing is amazing to... I give props to my bar tenders to Felipe, Miquel and his name started with a A I can't remember his name....
One thing I do not recommend which was my fault the 2nd day of the trip I ate a whole Lot of Sushi At the Sushi Bar and got very ill... it was not the Sushi itself I don't think, but my intake of a lot of it....Overall My 2nd experience at the Gran Porto I would rate a 4 out of 5... they always had something going on and the food was great... I cannot wait till next year to go back again.....

We've been there 10 times and do love it as well. We have been friends with Filipe for about 10 years now. He usually calls us every month or so. I did get sick from eating at the sushi bar last time as well. That was the 1st time I ever got sick there. Other than that we LOVE the food there!
No pictures????

Thanks!!

We're heading to the Gran Porto Real in 38 days (but I'm not counting...). This will be our 1st time to stay there; it came recommended by some scuba diving friends who use Mexico Blue Dream scuba shop. I upgraded us to an oceanview room; seems like a nice splurge. Any other tips?

I'm so disappointed we didn't get to eat at Il Pescatore. Read my trip report about our experience. We will have to do it next time. Can't wait to see your pics!!!!
