At one time I liked M.V. pizza almost as much as Romeo's and it was much closer to where I live.
We love the pizza at MV-especially the namesake and tomato sauce/garlic one. Went twice with original owners and last two trips with new(revamped the place but kept the same pizza chef). Hope the new new owners have the sense to do so once again.

My vote goes to Romeo's! The pizza is awesome!
Sue, was that deep dish from Uno Bar & Grill? That is my number one all time favorite pizza.
Here is a shot of a Romeo's pizza:

The deep dish pizza was from Green Mill.

Those Romeo pizzas look SO GOOD.

When we first started going there, the service was slow because there was only one waitress. The last time we went, there were more people working, and things went much more quickly!

Thanks Sue. Good to know. First time I went service was slow. Second time I went, things were really slow. Third time I left after an hour and a half with only an appy hit the table. Plus they were all attitude. Not sure i will try again but maybe it was growing pains. Pizza was good though.

That was our issue with the place previously. Tried it twice and food was average and service lousy. Too many good places in town to burn an evening again.

We went to Romeo's for my 60th birthday with Sue and Rick and Barry and Phylis and Heather and there may have been a couple of other people there.

Good pizza, good wine, good friends.

It does not get much better than that

I read somewhere on an old report or review about an italian restaurant called "Era Ora". Is this restaurant still open? I heard it was near Club Yebo but I don't remember seeing it.

We searched all over for a pizza place in town along 5th and the surrounding streets that had a decent crowd with good looking pizzas... we were lucky to land at Il Baretto... The service was great, and the pizza was fantastic, we loved it..

Ok. I guess the 15-20 times I've been to playa never ate much pizza. Too busy with tacos. So here is my stupid question.
Where is Romeos?
