Iberostar Paraiso Grand - Lucky 21/11

I've started my trip report on my blog. It was my 21st trip to the Riviera Maya and my 11th trip to the Iberostar Grand. We were celebrating my husband's 66th birthday. Be warned, my trip reports are a commitment.

Well....I'll be honest...I went to go start reading the most current trip report and just kept clicking "older posts". I love your writing style and pictures! I'm all the way back to earlier this year & bookmarked it for reading while on never-ending conference calls at work.

Just curious...what is your trip report "style"? How do you manage to keep your details organized? Do you write it as you go or do you take voice notes or do you just have a really awesome memory?

Over the past 6 years travelling to Mexico has become my obsession. I've given up most other hobbies & changed my lifestyle so that I can fit in as many trips to Mexico as possible. Like you, I really love blogging about it because it keeps me happy until the next trip and it's a great way to re-live the trips since each one is special. I have a website with other trips pictures & small summaries but I'd really like to be more detailed with future trips. I tend to drink too much on some days while on vacation to think I can do it justice while there (and I sleep a lot while I can)...so I was thinking about buying a voice recorder and keeping notes. Just trying to figure it all out. Sorry to derail the thread but THANK YOU for posting the new report!!!

Thank you! I used to just rely on memory with the help of photos. Now I take notes. I try to take some notes every day on the previous day. I did the best this trip, so hopefully it will translate into a good trip report. The pictures help a lot too, especially to remember what we ate.

I love reading trip reports if you want to share your blog.
