“I’ll be back in the office three days before one week after the day after tomorrow.”
Said this on Tuesday.... day after tomorrow is Thursday... one week after that is next Thursday... three days before that is Monday...
Reasoning for #3:
If he got 50 cents to cut the wood into two pieces, that meant he was getting 50 cents per chop (one chop = two pieces of wood; two chops would make 3 pieces of wood, etc); so if one chop = 50 cents, then cutting the log into 6 pieces would require 5 chops X 50 cents per chop = $2.50
How did you get #7, the question mark on my answer meant it was just a guess
