that is GREAT news!!

I have been very saddened by the terrorist attacks at the Nairobi Westgate mall...that was a mere four blocks from our hotel we stayed at, The Tribe hotel. What an awful thing, 167 dead.

Not that this makes it any better but I think it's 67 dead not 167.

67 confirmed dead, 175 injured, sorry....I swear I heard on the radio yesterday that they expected the final number of dead to rise to 167 once they get in there and clear the rubble, based on the number of people still declared 'missing'. But now I cannot find that number anywhere....

Whenever I have long conference calls at work I come look at TR's and for some reason am just now browsing the other country TR forum. All I can say is I'm super thankful for todays conference call since it allowed me to stumble upon this amazing report. Thank you for the beautiful pictures, it's intrigued me to the point of wanting to do something like this someday soon.

And I have to admit, the girls school poem was one of my favorite parts.

So glad you enjoyed it. It feels like it was a long time ago, now, in many ways. Great trip, though.

They are going to India this year.... but I didn't apply to go. I think my husband might divorce me if I spend that much on a vacation again so soon without him coming along!

Thank you for reading it, glad you liked it, Steven!

Funny timing that you wrote in here today, as the group of us who sponsored some students at the girl's school we toured just were all e-mailed this morning with photos and info about each of 'our' students.
