I'm afraid it's more of a "nightmare list" than a dream. I pretty much want everything! Actually, I restrict the majority of my collecting to the guitar pins all the cafes put out, plus the "people" pins they produce (Girls of Rock/Waitress/Servers). The last few years, they've been bringing out special series that cafes all over the world participate in, producing a localized version of it. Like last year, they all brought out a "Butterfly Guitar" series with the body of a guitar being colourful butterfly's wings in different shapes. Most of them were gorgeous. This year, they're doing the same with dragonflies. Series like these are all limited editions, so there's a certain urgency in getting them "while supplies last", so that's why I try to have people in place to shop for me on a periodic basis. What I frequently do is when somebody lets me know they'll help out, I contact the cafe and find out what they have available, and put together a wish list for my shopper. I noticed on another thread, that you spoke highly of downtown Los Angeles. Does that mean you get there on a regular basis, Avalon? Anywhere near the HRC? (Hint, hint!) The cafe in LA was the second one ever opened, after the original in London. Hong Kong does indeed have a Hard Rock Cafe, so if you'll let me know when your guy is on his way in that direction next, and if it's convenient to shop for me, I'd be pleased for the help.
