cant read text

hi i can not read the text in that dark color ....it is when someone writes and the background is dark blue the text is tooo dark

Could you be more specific, Barb? Not sure I follow you. If it's broken, we want to fix it! Thanks for the post.

hi when i read my post or someone elses and it is on the background of blue the writting on the blue background is too dark and i cant read it....my meesage board clor backgrounf is dark green and then blue....

Hello, James- I'm having the same problem reading the text. There are alternating message bands of blue and taupe. If a message is written in the blue band the text is nearly invisible. I have to click and drag over it to highlight it then I can see the text. It would be better if all text appeared on a taupe background in white print. I hope yu can do something to corect it. (Is it a problem only on Macs?)

How can I access the messages from the old board?

I had been toying with the idea of bringing our forum up to the 21st century for quite a while, but I really enjoyed the simplicity of the old style. So, I basically had decided to stick with the old system for the time being.

Then my server started to have problems, and my forum and classifieds crashed because of their problems. So I quickly installed this system to get back up (my server has claimed responsibility and is mirroring this site as we speak)and honestly enjoy it quite a bit. It is better scaled to our rapid growth, while perhaps a bit more challenging to the novice.

I hope that the new mirrored server will allow me to allow the old posts to be searchable. They are intact (last time I checked). Until then, if you have any questions already answered, please feel free to ask us directly by email or post away, no worries.

I see now what "cmocon" meant by blue and taupe bands a while ago ... until a couple of days ago, and still when I check from work, it's all a sandy colour, and that was a lot harder to read. The dark colours are nice, and the white letters show up fine. Good work, James.
Any idea why it changed so suddenly (when I logged in) or why it hasn't from the other location? Just one of those mysteries of cyberspace?
