My first vivid recollection was having an earache and my mom rocking me in our basement...the pain must be what makes me remember?
I was around 2 or 3.
The first 'world event' I remember was when Elvis died, I think I was about 7....we were at our family cabin at the lake, driving down the road and it came in the radio, and my aunts and my mom were crying inconsolably.
My mom tells me I was like, "Who is Ellis?"
