Thumbs up The Mexico Teachers Strike Comes to an End in Solidaridad

The Mexico Teachers Strike has come to an end in Solidaridad with teachers and students returning peacefully to their classrooms on Monday November 11th. But what was it all about? If you are like many English speakers still grappling with the Spanish language, the barrage of information on the internet and in the local papers was quite overwhelming to wade through and translate. When I reported yesterday about the return to school, I received quite a few questions about the strike and Mexico's new education reform. So, I spent a good part of yesterday doing my home work and trying to compile the information...from both sides...into an article that made some sense...at least to me.

I hope this helps straighten out some of the questions you might have about the teachers strike in Mexico.
